Alpaca Yarns

Alpaca fibers are called the "Gold of the Andes" because of their silky feel and lustrous tones. This truly elegant fiber is available in many natural colors, as well as a wide selection of "romantic" colors.

Available in 4 weights:

  • Chunky - Super soft, you won't want to put it down
  • Worsted – Rustic, soft and warm single-ply knit.
  • Sport - Very soft, great drape, and excellent color range.
  • Fingering - Great for shawls and baby items, the very soft fibers make it easy to work with.

Merino Wool

  • Worsted weight - Super soft, this luxurious soft hand yarn is like knitting with butter.

Available in many natural shades, as well as vibrant, radiant colors. Resilient and warm, merino wool felts beautifully.

Pima Cotton

  • Sport weight -Knits up very nicely, with a subtle sheen, wears well. Comfortable, silky/soft feel. Washable.

85% Pima Cotton/15 % Silk

  • Sport weight - The luxurious silk adds warmth in winter and coolness in summer. This yarn is pleasant to work with; it provides great drape, and adds luster to the cotton.
  • Hand Painted Alpaca – This very soft yarn is fun to work with and available in wonderful colorful combinations. Available in Chunky, Sport and Fingering Weights.
  • Multi-Tone Alpaca – The same super soft Alpaca dyed in multi tones of the same color.

Brushed Suri

  • Fingering weight – Vibrant colors are offered for all seasons, Knitters can add a touch of fun to their garments by combining brushed suri with other yarns.

Ceramic Buttons

Fun colors and designs available in 4 sizes. A handmade button adds the perfect finishing touch to your hand knit sweater or other items.

Many of our patterns are hand knit at the Cooperative in Bolivia, and are offered for purchase. The garments display superb knitting and finishing quality.
