The Warm Scarves Operation was Heartwarming
This year Ms. Bobst had many new student knitters and crocheters, and even Notre Dame's beloved English and Journalism teacher, Tracy Payne, learned to crochet. A special thanks to our wonderful Sisters of Notre Dame Sister Claudia McTaggart, Sister Nancy Uhl and Sister Carol Shoup for their participation. Thanks also to all the other teachers including Patti Kussman, Katherine Lipps, Liz Milanovich, Catherine Kuebler and Gail Tifft who have made crocheting during the month of November and December an annual ritual in Notre Dame’s faculty room. Thanks also to Bobbin’s Nest Studio for the yarn donation & needles, Mr. Jim Petkiewicz, Didi Petkiewiz’s grandfather, for the beautiful yarn from Peru (Frog Tree yarns.com) and our own ASB for the fund to buy yarn.
Students who made scarves, don’t forget to pick up your free dress pass from Ms. Bobst. Please return any unused yarn and needles/hooks so we can make more scarves next year.
